A comfort layer of convoluted polyfoam sits above the springs, promoting airflow through the foam and preventing the heat retention that solid foam layers sometimes cause. The knitted cover uses a soft-touch polyester blend with a subtle stripe pattern, and the edges are reinforced with a high-density foam rail that maintains support right to the mattress perimeter. Delivered in compact vacuum-sealed packaging, it expands fully within six hours.
